“I felt the need to capture my youth and femininity. I sensed that I needed to openly embrace my womanhood after living through the expectations of those around me. I love the aesthetic of Natalia’s work. I really appreciated her outlook on womanhood, body image, and femininity. Natalia's transparency with her client's and her willingness to embrace what it means to be a woman truly stood out to me. Initially, I was afraid of judgment and exposure as I’ve never captured images of my own body. I was afraid of not liking what I saw. I would now tell others who are considering having a photoshoot with Natalia that despite how nervous they may feel about exposing their body, and being in a vulnerable state, it is actually very empowering to sit in the courage of being able to open yourself up. We were able to bring my vision and moodboard to life. It was amazing.”
